Mysuru: Even before the memory of the death of a youth from M. L. Hundi in a leopard attack a month ago fading away, a leopard has claimed yet another life.
Meghna (22), a resident of S. Kebbehundi Village in the Taluk, was the victim of the leopard attack. It is being said that the leopard attacked her when she had gone to the backyard. The girl was rushed to Narasipura Public Hospital for further treatment but she succumbed to her injuries.
Despite repeated requests from the public to catch the leopard, the negligence of the Forest Department has resulted in the loss of another poor life.
