Mysuru Palace to remain closed for visitors during Yaduveer’s wedding

Mysuru: The tourists visiting the world famous Mysore palace are likely to be denied entry between June 22 and 28 as the grand wedding of Prince Yaduveer is taking place.

The Mysuru Palace witnessed hectic activities and rituals with members of both the royal families fixing date and muhurtham for the wedding.The date of the wedding was fixed taking into account the various factors according to Royal tradition. The Amba Vilas palace is going to witness a wedding after a gap of 40 years, after Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar’s wedding was held in 1976.

Foster mother of Prince Yaduveer, Pramoda Devi has requested the palace administration board to deny permission for tourists during the wedding period. The exact timings will be known during next week.

The grand wedding of Prince Yaduveer and Trishika Singh will be attended by members of the royal family, dignitaries and those close to the royal family.The preparations for the rare royal wedding are in full swing to accommodate around 30000 invitees.

Trishika Singh hails from the royal family of Dungarpur, Rajasthan.
