Mysuru: Mysuru women police registered a case against an Agriculture Officer on charges of cheating a woman in name of love.
The accused N. K. Vikas, working as Agriculture Officer in Farmers’ Communication Centre in Bettadapura in Periyapattana Taluk befriended a divorcee working as a temporary worker at Periyapattana Agriculture Office. He had physical relationship with her under the pretext of marrying her.
In the complaint it has been stated that he even took her abortion in a private clinic of the City. When woman insisted on marriage he allegedly threatened her with dire consequences. She has been admitted to KR hospital after she resorted to suicide.
Police has registered a case and is investigating.
