Mysuru: The Scheduled Tribe and Caste Daily Wagers’ Association staged a protest against the Karnataka State Open
University (KSOU), urging the authorities to reinstate the workers in the university on Tuesday April 19.
The daily wagers at KSOU have allegedly been fired from their jobs without any notice and despite the order to reinstate them, no actions have been taken.
The employees who gathered in front of the KSOU Hall, said they will continue indefinitely fighting for justice. They demanded the university to take back the appeal given in 2015 to Karnataka High Court and reappoint the employees as per the Labour Court orders.
