Mysuru: A newly wed woman died by suicide allegedly along with her lover by jumping into backwaters of KRS North Block.
The deceased have been identified as Nisarga (19) and Naveen (20), both residents of Metagalli. Naveen was Nisarga’s uncle.
As the parents refused to accept their love, Nisarga was married off just 10 days back to a person in a village near Chamarajanagara. However, Nisarga and Naveen went missing on Wednesday December 1. Naveen had parked his scooter near the military camp at KRS North Block.
They have tied themselves together in a veil before jumping into water.
A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
