Puttur: Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan said that the veterinary college is under construction and will be completed soon. The classes will start within the next six months, he added.
He was speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday June 29 after inspecting the construction work of Koila Veterinary College here in the Taluk. There is no dearth of economic cooperation from the Government’s end for the building workers. The funds have been released in a phased manner. Work has reached the final stage. It will be inaugurated soon, he said.
Responding to the allegations that rainwater was leaking into the under construction buildings, the Minister said it would be checked through engineers to see if there was any lapse in the works being carried out. If there is a lapse, the payment of bills will be withheld till it is rectified, he said.
In Mangaluru, minor works are pending in the veterinary polyclinic building. All this will be completed soon and will be inaugurated, he asserted
Replying to Minister Umesh Katti’s statement he said that a formation of separate state is his personal opinion. His statement has nothing to do with the Government. There is no intention of forming a separate State by the Government. Karnataka will remain as a whole State, he said.
