Bhopal : A 10-year-old student at an Indore school is accused of being stabbed over 100 times by classmates using a geometry compass in a horrible incident.
According to reports, the victim, a Class 4 kid at a private school in Indore, was attacked with a geometry compass at least 108 times by his peers.
According to the police’s preliminary inquiry, the child was attacked while fighting with his peers. But the precise cause of the altercation that sparked the lads’ intense outburst was still unknown.
An official stated on Monday that the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), having taken notice of the occurrence, has requested the police investigation report.
Pallavi Porwal, the chairperson of the CWC, told reporters, “It’s a shocking incident.” It is reported that a fight between some kids in the same class is the cause of this. On the other hand, the incident’s brutality is stunning. We have requested a police investigation report in order to ascertain the cause of the aggressive behavior exhibited by young children.”
Porwal went on to say that the CWC would investigate whether the kids play violent video games and would counsel the boys and their families over the incident.
The victim’s parents have filed a complaint, alleging carelessness on the part of the school administration and requesting a thorough inquiry.
“All children involved in the incident are below 10 years of age, and appropriate steps are being taken as per legal provisions,” ACP Vivek Singh Chauhan said on Monday.
