Mangaluru: A protest meeting was held at the Project Director’s Office premises in the City on Tuesday March 7 under the aegis of the Land Owners’ Struggle Committee on National Highway 169, demanding compensation for the land owners who lost their land during the construction of the Highway. The landowners, who had gathered in large numbers, joined the protest holding placards.
