Kannada films have become extremely popular and often catch the attention of other film industry members as well. Filmmakers are always waiting for new Kannada films so that they can buy the remake rights. Now, “Kaanadante Maayavadanu” may soon join the list of Kannada films that have been remade into other languages.
The film, which belongs to the horror genre, stars Vikas and Sindhu Loknath in the lead. It is about a ghost who is out to seek revenge but turns out to be powerless in doing so. The film, directed by Raj Pathipati, is all set to release on January 31.
The makers initially had planned to dub the film in Tamil and Telugu. However, they have been asked not to dub the film and instead, sell the remake rights as it will be more commercially viable. Although there are several demands for the acquisition of the movie’s remake rights, the team has decided to wait until the movie releases.
