Kochi: Sudhakara Prabhu and his wife Sudha, proprietors of a small tea shop in Fort Kochi, experienced a remarkable change in their lives after their shop started gaining popularity due to Prabhu’s striking resemblance to the legendary actor Rajinikanth. Their ordinary routine took an extraordinary turn after film director Nadir Shah noticed Prabhu’s resemblance to Rajinikanth during a film shoot near their tea shop.
As word spread about the uncanny likeness, their humble tea shop began attracting more customers, many of whom asked to take selfies with Prabhu. Sudha recounted that they had long been aware of her husband’s resemblance to the iconic actor, but it was director Nadir Shah’s viral video that truly transformed their lives.
Their admiration for Rajinikanth runs deep, and they even went to see his recent film ‘Jailor’. During the movie’s intermission, Prabhu briefly left the theater, leading to a commotion as some audience members believed that the great actor himself had arrived.
Now, Prabhu, 63, revels in his newfound fame and harbors a simple yet heartfelt desire: to meet the legendary actor Rajinikanth, an aspiration he believes may come true.
“I want to meet the great actor, and I am sure he will grant my wish once he hears about it,” said Prabhu.
