Gundlupet: A bus from West Bengal, carrying 66 passengers and en route to Ooty via Bandipur, met with an unfortunate accident on Tuesday night, causing significant injuries to more than 30 passengers. The incident occurred near Melukamanahalli within the Bandipur sanctuary area in the taluk of Gundlupet.
The bus, which was on its way to Ooty, was loaded with a total of 66 passengers, including men, women, and children. The journey was planned to pass through the scenic Bandipur sanctuary, offering travelers an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty and wildlife of the region.
However, as the bus approached a sharp turn on the highway, disaster struck when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver’s inability to navigate the turn resulted in the bus overturning, causing chaos and panic among the passengers.
