The quick-commerce platform Blinkit announced its partnership with Lenskart and the 10-minute delivery of computer glasses and sunglasses, following the Play Station 5 and ceiling fans. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, announced the partnership with Peyush Bansal, CEO of Lenskart, on social media. The statement “Blinkit customers can now get Lenskart products in 10 minutes” was written by Mr. Dhindsa in his post.
“We’ll begin by shipping their Hustlr line of computer glasses and sunglasses. Curious to see @peyushbansal how Hustlr develops as a brand over time,” Mr. Dhindsa continued.

After going viral online, the post attracted a lot of comments from users.
“Why not start the 8 mins delivery for medicine? It is the need of the hour,” wrote one user. “Soon, e-commerce will be overtaken by quick commerce, haha,” commented another.
“Prescription glasses in 10 minutes or maybe even half an hour – now that would be a killer service!” expressed a third. “Albinder Dhindsa is taking quick commerce to a whole new level,” said another.
An X user said, “Please acquire PharmEasy and start 10 mins delivery of medicines”. “Whyyy Am I the only one who take two days to decide what suits me best and tries everything before buying,” remarked another.
“I need to attend a wedding tomorrow but can’t find the perfect shoe now, please add shoes to the blinkit. Better be careful about return policy,” added a person.
The latest news, however, follows Mr. Dhindsa’s announcement of a partnership with Atomberg, a producer of household appliances with low energy consumption. The ceiling fans will be delivered within 12 minutes by the quick delivery platform as part of the services.
In addition, Blinkit declared that it will work with Sony to deliver the recently released PlayStation 5 (PS5) Slim edition and controllers in ten minutes. According to Mr. Dhindsa, customers can order the new PlayStation 5 Slim or the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition and have it delivered in 10 minutes to Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai. The PS5 DualSense is now also made possible by the hyperlocal delivery platform. The PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition costs ₹44,990, while the PlayStation 5 Slim is priced at ₹54,990.
