Bengaluru : People are still drawn to work in Bengaluru because of its distinctive cultural values. But lately, the city has been the subject of numerous internet memes that highlight a number of unusual occurrences that “only happen in Bengaluru.” Numerous accounts of “Peak Bengaluru” events can be found online, where locals share their experiences and everyday interactions. One such instance that was recently uploaded on X (previously known as Twitter) has made headlines due to a delivery agent’s unusual outfit. Even though he is wearing Swiggy’s iconic orange T-shirt, his service bag and helmet are what really draw notice to him.
When posting the delivery man’s photo on social media, one user referred to it as his “Peak Bengaluru” moment. The delivery worker is seen leaving the parking space in the widely shared photo while sporting an orange Swiggy jersey. But what really makes him stand out are the two unexpected additions: his helmet with the Portal logo, another business that serves delivery and shifting needs, and the Zomato delivery bag on the pillion seat.

As soon as the post was shared, social media users couldn’t help but be left in splits, seeing the hilarious mix of multiple brands. While many agreed with it calling it a typical Bengaluru moment, it also marks the collaborative and competitive spirit in Bengaluru.
In one similar incident that went viral last year from the Karnataka capital, a Rapido driver was spotted wearing and even carrying things from various brands. An X user while sharing the picture of the driver wrote, “My Peak Bangalore moment yesterday.”
