Canada: A Royal Canadian Air Force Hercules aircraft was deployed by authorities to locate a missing plane, and searchers successfully pinpointed its location on Mount Bogart, approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) west of Calgary.
The search team utilized an emergency locator transmitter to narrow down the aircraft’s whereabouts. Unfortunately, both the Hercules crew and Alberta Parks Mountain Rescue responders, upon reaching the scene, confirmed that there were no survivors.
The incident involves a single-engine Piper PA-32, and the Transportation Safety Board has initiated an investigation into the crash.
