Seoul: Popular South Korean singer Park Bo Ram, known for her popular K-drama soundtracks, unexpectedly died at the age of 30. The cause of death is under investigation.
The news of sudden death of the singer, who has steadily built her career over the past decade has sent shock waves across the entertainment industry.
Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding her death, which occurred while she was attending party with two other women at a friend’s home when she collapsed in cardiac arrest. She became unresponsive in a restroom and was found unconscious by her friends. Despite efforts to revive her, Park Bo Ram was pronounced dead at the hospital. Namyangju Police are currently investigating the cause of death.
Her agency, XANADU Entertainment, expressed their deep sorrow and requested privacy for the family during this difficult time.
Park Bo Ram rose to fame in 2010 through the singing competition “Superstar K2.” where she finished in eighth place. Her performances and contributions to soundtracks garnered her a loyal fanbase. She won many awards, including the 2014 Artist of the Year Award. The singer was actively preparing for her 10th-anniversary comeback.
