Bengaluru: Major irrigation minister Ramesh Jarakiholi met Maharastra BJP strongman and former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in New Delhi on Thursday night.
Jarakiholi termed the meeting as a courtesy meet.
However, sources close to him informed that he met Fadnavis as per the instruction of the party national president JP Nadda.
The meeting went on for over one hour. If sources are to be believed, then the BJP is trying to use Jarakiholi to lure a few Congress MLAs of his community to topple the Maharastra government.
However, the BJP has denied all such allegations.
