New Delhi: Close on the heels of veteran actor and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan attacking MP Ravi Kishan for speaking about drug menace in Bollywood, actor Kangana Ranaut has questioned Jaya Bachchan if she would say the same thing if her daughter or son were affected.
In a tweet, Kangana Ranaut said on Tuesday, “Jaya ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenage, would you say the same thing if Abhieshek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also Folded hands (sic)”.
It may be recalled that Jaya Bachchan moved a Zero Hour notice in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday to raise the issue of a conspiracy to “defame the film industry”.
Jaya Bachchan attacked actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan who discussed the “drug menace in Bollywood” in Lok Sabha on Monday and indirectly hit out at Kangana Ranaut and said it was a shame that people who earned their living from the industry are now calling it a “gutter”.
