Mangaluru: Dr Ullasa Shetty, Assistant Professor of Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology of A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mangaluru, secured the first prize in best paper presentation in staff category at the XIIIth Annual Conference of South India Medico-legal Association (SIMLA) – Forensicon 2016, organized by the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, KS Hegde Medical Academy, NITTE University, Mangaluru, Karnataka held on 7th, 8th and 9th October 2016 at the Nitte University.
Dr. Gautham N., Post-graduate student, secured the first place in Postgraduate Quiz competition.
This conference included most of the teaching institutions from different parts of the country and some colleges from abroad. This is one of the rare achievements of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology of A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre wherein both from the faculty section and the postgraduate secured the topmost position.
The Management and the Dean of the institution have commended the achievements of the winners and the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
