Mangaluru: A one-day research methodology workshop was organised by the PG Departments of Economics, History and Archaeology and Hindi at University College Mangaluru on Friday August 5.
Former Chairman and Retired Professor at Department of PG Studies in Economics of Magaluru University Dr. Shripati Kalluraya inaugurated the workshop. “We can solve many problems by doing research based on Social Science. Also, natural curiosity is the source for research,” he opined.
Principal Dr. Anasuya Rai, in her presidential speech, called upon postgraduate students to develop interest in research. In the workshop, University Evening College Department of PG Studies in Konkani Coordinator Dr. Devadasa Pai, Srinivasa University Economics Assistant Professor and Research Guide Dr. Niyaz participated as resource persons.
PG Studies in Economics, History and Hindi Coordinators Dr. Ramakrishna B. A., Dr. Nagarathna N. Rao and Dr. Kumaraswamy M. were present.
Mangaluru University Konkani Study Chair Coordinator Dr. Jayavantha Nayak welcomed the guests. Lecturer of PG Studies in Economics Madhura delivered the speech and Lecturer Shama mastered the ceremony.
