Mangaluru: The 7th IEEE International Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICRAIE-2022), held from Dec 1–3, 2022, is held by the IEEE Student Branch at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, in association with the IEEE Bangalore Section and the IEEE Mangalore Sub Section. The key sponsor of the conference is IBM.
There was a call for papers in various areas related to circuit branches like ECE, EEE, CSE, and IT. A total of 343 papers were received across all three tracks; 93 papers were accepted. A total of 191 reviewers and experts from various domains from different renowned universities in the country participated in the review process. There will be 15 parallel sessions to present the papers in various areas. This conference is organised in a hybrid mode.
The Inauguration Program was held today Dec 2, at NITK. Director (I/C) Prof. G. C. Mohan Kumar presided over the function. Prof. VLN Simhan, of Southern Georgia University, USA, was the guest of honour, and Srihari Kulkarni, a software architect at IBM Cloud, was the chief guest.
Keynote Speakers were: Prof. VLN Simhan, Prof. Marcin Paprzycki (Systems Research Institute, Poland), Srihari Kulkarni (Software Architect, IBM Cloud), Prof. Soumya K Ghosh (IIT Kharagpur), and Prof. Rajesh Hegde (IIT Kanpur).
Prof. Annappa B and Dr Sourav Kanti Addya were the organising chairs of this conference.
