Mangaluru: Team Siri & Matrix, in collaboration with the Department of Journalism at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), are organizing the Swacch Sulthan Bathery, a cleaning program aimed at promoting cleanliness in the local community.

The event, scheduled for Friday, March 29, will take place from 8 am to 10 am, with volunteers participating in a cleaning drive.

The event will begin with an informative talk by Nagaraj Bajal, the convenor of Hasiru Dala, focusing on the importance of cleanliness and sanitation.

The volunteers will then actively engage in cleaning the surrounding areas, removing litter and debris, contributing to the cleanliness and aesthetics of the environment. Refreshments will be provided to participants as a token of appreciation for their dedication.

The primary objective of Swacch Sulthan Bathery is to instill a sense of responsibility and ownership among individuals towards maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings.

By actively involving community members in the cleaning process, the initiative fosters a culture of cleanliness and hygiene that extends beyond the event itself.

The significance of Swacch Sulthan Bathery extends beyond mere cleanliness, as it contributes to public health and well-being by reducing the prevalence of litter and waste.

Promoting cleanliness fosters a sense of pride and belonging among community members, strengthening community bonds and instilling civic responsibility.

Members of the Team Siri & Matrix:
Anusha, Maithri, Kshithi, Vinya, Prajnya, Sai Krithik, Salman, Radhakrishna, &  Arun.
