Mangaluru: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) hosted a workshop titled “Unlocking the Power of ARM Cortex-M ” on October 28, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the DSP Lab, Dept. of ECE.
The workshop aimed to provide both faculty and students of the ECE Department with practical experience in utilizing newly acquired ARM Cortex-M kits and interfacing various peripherals with the main board. The workshop featured esteemed resource persons from MIBS Tech Solutions in Bengaluru, including Hussain Saheb, CEO and co-founder; Nadeem Zafer, Senior Embedded Engineer; and Nazir Hussain, Embedded Engineer.
A total of 30 participants, comprising teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students, attended the workshop. The sessions were well-received by all participants. It was expertly moderated by a team of faculty members from the ECE Department, including Aldrin Claytus Vaz, Assistant Professor; Dr Roshan R Naik, Associate Professor; and Vijay Ganesh PC, Assistant Professor. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where participants had the opportunity to seek further clarification and engage with the presenters.
