First Investiture Ceremony held in KJ CMI Pub. School

Bengaluru Rural, Doddaballapura: Naipunya Mahotsav is the first investiture ceremony held by the Kristu Jayanti CMI Public School, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru rural. The office bearers were elected as the perfect body of a student council. Chosen students took part in leadership roles, and an oath was delivered to fulfil the duties of the school. KS Nagraj, Deputy superintendent of police, was the guest of honour for the investiture ceremony from Doddaballapura, Bengaluru. He bestowed the badges and sash upon the proud elected students. Thereafter, he delivered a speech on leadership skills.

For a country, it is essential to create upcoming leaders. The investiture ceremony is an honour for the candidate equally is a traditional and symbolic representation of the Leadership of the future country. Furthermore, the duties and responsibilities have been passed to newly appointed candidates to assure the elected representatives uphold the oath of School, fulfil the responsibility and duties to those who elected them. Hence, elected Student Council Members are bestowed the responsibility and receive honoured badges and sash.

“The leadership skills that each one has to inspire in the early stages of life and emphasized the fact that it is an individual that defines a position. ‘Service Before Self’ in words and deeds and urged to embrace the duties with humility, perseverance, and loyalty. The Initiative from Kristu Jayanti CMI Public School by Investiture Ceremony will lead the student to be a good and responsible citizen in the future” said KS Nagraj (DySP).

Elected candidates were Keerthana S. M and Jeevan Aradhya K R as the Head Girl and Boy. The house captain and vice-captains of  Manava, Pranava, Sathya, and Sneha took the oath under the Principal Fr Philip Joseph CMI. The section leaders and ten council members participated in the swearing-in ceremony. Fr John Eattaniel CMI, Director of San Joe Bhavan, and Fr Lijo P Thomas CMI, the financial administrator, were present at the function. During the occasion, proud parents attended the auspicious moment. Fr Lijo P Thomas CMI extended his wishes to the new office bearers.
