Mumbai: Stating that the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government in Karnataka would fall, the Shiv Sena in its editorial ‘Saamna’, has claimed that the collapse of the government in Karnataka was predicted the day it was formed.

Shiv Sena has stated that the H D Kumaraswamy-led coalition party forming the government was unnatural. “The fall of this government was predicted the day it was formed. There is a political turmoil going on in Karnataka. Non-BJP governments will not exist for long in the country”, it stated.

With rebel MLAs from both Congress and JDS submitting their resignations, resort politics has once again started in Karnataka. Eleven MLAs, eight from the Congress and three from the JDS, who submitted their resignations on Saturday, were taken to a five-star hotel in Mumbai the same day. According to the latest updates, the JDS party has decided to shift all its MLAs to Paddington Resort and Spa in Somwarpet, Coorg. The JDS MLAs are expected to reach the resort tonight.

Though the opposition BJP is stating that the coalition government will collapse, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has said that there is no threat to the government, and he is confident that it would survive.
