Chandigarh: Story of Narendra Modi, a tea vendor who rose to become the Prime Minister of India is truly inspirational. On the same lines, the tale of Surinder Kumar, a tea vendor and his daughter Shruti is equally great.
All his life he brewed and served tea in a court premises to well-learned people and had never expected that one day his own daughter would grow up to be a judge in the same court!
Surinder Kumar sells tea at the court complex of the sub-divisional magistrate in Punjab’s Nakodar and now as his daughter Shruti cracked the Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) examination, she will soon be delivering judgments in the same court.
Shruti cleared the examination in her first attempt.
