Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi passionately addressed a youth conclave, urging attendees to join her in chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” Despite her repeated encouragement, a portion of the audience remained silent, prompting Lekhi to question their allegiance to India. In a moment of frustration, she even suggested that those unwilling to participate should consider leaving the venue.
The conclave, organized by certain right-wing groups, became a platform for Lekhi to emphasize the importance of national pride. Concluding her speech, she once again led the chant, expecting a more enthusiastic response from the audience. However, disappointment lingered as the participation fell short of her expectations.
Directing her attention to a woman in the crowd, Lekhi implored her to stand and join in, questioning her reluctance. Despite the minister’s insistence, the woman remained unmoved, prompting Lekhi to express her disapproval.
Lekhi reiterated that those who do not share a sense of pride in their nation and are hesitant to express it need not be part of such gatherings. Her words underscored her unwavering belief in fostering a strong sense of patriotism among the youth.
