Sitapur: In a bizarre and hair-raising incident in Madnapur Kalli village of Uttar Pradesh‘s Sitapur district, a gigantic six-feet-long crocodile made its way into a residence, causing a three-hour-long ordeal before being safely rescued.
This unusual occurrence unfolded on Thursday when the formidable reptile ventured inside a house situated a mere 100 meters from the Ghaghra River. The sudden presence of the crocodile left the household and other villagers in a state of shock and panic, prompting them to seek assistance from the forest department.
After a frantic search for help, a forest team arrived at the scene, swiftly taking action to rescue the unexpected guest from the residence. A forest department employee revealed that it was likely the crocodile had ventured out of the nearby river, deciding to pay a visit to the house.
The residents of Madnapur Kalli village expressed that this unprecedented incident marked the first time such an event had transpired in their locality.
