As the final preparations for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple near the January 22 deadline, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a special gift for all attendees – Ramraj. This unique offering, in addition to motichoor laddoos, will serve as the prashad for the ceremony, with over 11,000 guests invited from across the country.

Ramraj, the sacred soil extracted during the temple’s foundation laying, will be presented in small boxes to the attendees. Considered highly auspicious, the soil can be placed in home gardens, according to a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The trust member expressed that having this sacred soil in one’s house is a matter of great fortune. Those unable to attend the ceremony will receive Ramraj whenever they visit the temple in the future.

As part of the celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be presented with a 15-meter-long picture of the Ram Temple, packaged in a jute bag.

The pran pratishtha, scheduled for 12:20 pm, will be conducted by a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit, performing the main rituals. The installation of 16 doors is underway, with the remaining 4-5 doors set to be installed by January 19. Notably, the doors of the sanctum sanctorum are adorned with gold.

To facilitate the event, guests attending the ceremony in Ayodhya will be provided with codes for seating arrangements, along with QR codes for parking.

Prime Minister Modi has initiated an 11-day ritual in preparation for the pran pratishtha ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. In an audio message on the social media platform X, PM Modi expressed gratitude for being a medium to represent all Indians during this auspicious occasion.
