Gammath Kalavider to Stage New Style Maiden Tulu Drama

Dubai: Gammath Kalavider Dubai, known for their decade-long commitment to staging Tulu Dramas and promoting Tulu art and culture in this region, is all set to debut a new Tulu Drama titled ‘Vaa Galiged Puttudana’ in Dubai on March 10 at Emirates Theater Dubai, starting at 4 pm. Precious Parties & Entertainment Services will be presenting the show.

Patron Harish Bangera and president Rajesh Kuthar organized a ‘Ticket Release’ ceremony at B-Town Hotel in Capital Hotel, Jumeirah, Dubai, on February 17. Guests including Sarvotham Shetty, Joseph Mathias, James Mendonca, Syed Ajmal, Shodhan Prasad, Satish Poojary, Vasu Shetty, and Vishwanath Shetty were invited on stage and honored.

The flyer of the drama was unveiled by all the guests on stage, followed by the release and distribution of tickets. Ticket bookings have already commenced, with many purchasing in advance due to the limited availability.

The director, ‘Ranga Sarathy’ Vishwanath Shetty Dubai, briefed that this newest script, specially written for ‘Gammath Kalavider’ by Sandeep Shetty Rayee, features a title song penned by Rajaneesh Amin, recorded in the voice of Dr Devadas Kapikad, and another song by Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail. Music will be provided by Shubhakar Belapu, with backstage support by Satish Ullal and Vincy Lobo.

The star-studded cast includes ‘Ranga Kesari’ Chidananda Poojary, Vasu Kumar Shetty, Suvarna Satish, Girish Narayan, Jesh Bayer, Deepthi Dinraj, Irene Cynthia Mendonca, Monappa Poojary, Prashanth Nair, Janet Sequeira, Ramesh Suvarna, Samantha Girish, Jasmitha Vivek, Gautham Bangera, Rajaneesh Amin, Amith, Deeksha Rai and Sannidhi Vishwanath Shetty.

As always, Gammath Kalavider will allocate a portion of the proceeds to support the needy back home. Hence, there is an appeal for support in whatever capacity possible to fulfill their commitment to society.
