Belagavi: The Diabetes Centre of KLES Hospital and KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) and J N Medical College, in association with the National Diabetes Foundation (NDF), Medical Council of India (MCI) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), have organised a Diabetes Scientific Conclave at the KLE Centenary Convention Centre on December 23.
Dr. M A Sekhar, Director of the Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology and Research, and Director in-charge of Medical Education of Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru will deliver the keynote address. Dr. M Balasubramanyam, Dean of Research Studies and Senior Scientist of the leading International Research Centre, Madras, Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF) of Chennai will be giving the talk. The new future trends of diabetes will be discussed and the programme will commence at 9.45 AM.
The scientific conclave on Diabetes will address the link between Diabetes and Osteoporosis, Diabetes and Women’s Health at various stages of life, hold interaction sessions aiming to discuss newer approaches, researchers and techniques with a theme “OMICS SCIENCE” for precision medicine practice in the future. The chairman of the scientific conference, Dr. M V Jali, and Dr. Rekha Patil, the organising secretary, call on the professionals, medical postgraduates, undergraduates and faculty to make the best use of this meeting.
