Haveri: Theme park to come up in Shishunala, says CM

Haveri: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has announced that a theme park will be set up at Sukshetra Shishunala Village to understand the meaning of Santa Shishunala Sharif’s philosophy and words.

Speaking after inaugurating the cultural programme of Santa Sharifa Shivayogi and Govindabhatta Jatra Mahotsava at Shishuvinala Village in Shiggaon Taluk of the District, he said that a programme is being formulated for the holistic development of Sukshetra Shishuvinala and now the development works are going on at a cost of Rs. 8 Crore. We are making a museum of Sharif’s philosophies. We will film the incidents where Sharif has walked around. Special facilities will be provided for the fair, he said.

Sharif’s idea was beyond the framework of religion. He is an awe-inspiring poet, and those who understand him will know his thoughts, he said and added that the Sharif spoke about the value of life and the human relationship in philosophical terms.
