Bengaluru: In an interesting decision, Congress national leaders invited JD (S) for the valedictory of the Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) to be held on January 30 in Srinagara.
This invitation has come amid a war of words between Congress and JD (S) leaders in Karnataka.
According to the sources, AICC leader Rahul Gandhi has personally written a letter to JD (S) supremo H. D. Devegowda and former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy.
According to sources, Deve Gowda is likely to attend the valedictory amid his poor health.
“Congress High Command is on good terms with JD (S) leadership. It is proved again with this invitation,” added sources.
