Chikkaballapura: In a shocking incident, sister-in-law was stabbed to death with a knife in Chellur by her brother-in-law.
The deceased has been identified as Trisha (35). Raghu is the accused in the murder.
On the morning of Saturday November 5, when the victim’s husband Vijayakumar and his brother Raghu were engaged in a financial scuffle, Trisha came in between and immediately brother-in-law Raghu, in a fit of rage, stabbed her in the neck with a knife and fled. Trisha died amid blood shed.
Raghu, who had fled after committing the murder, was traced from his mobile location and arrested.
All of them were residents of Shikaripura in Koratagere Taluk and had set up cloth tents on the outskirts of the Village and were engaged in collecting old scrap goods and other businesses.
