Bengaluru: Pressing for Deputy Chief Minister’s post to a legislator from Valmiki community, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Sriramulu has threatened the CM of mass resignation of the Valmiki leaders if this demand is not met.
Addressing the reporters, Sriramulu said that Ramesh Jarakiholi or any other Valmiki leaders should be given the post.
“I will be happy to see any Valmiki leader as the DCM in the government. If this demand is not fulfilled then as per the directions of the Valmiki Samaj seer, all the leaders are ready to resign,” he said adding that though the people feel that he must be given the DCM’s post, that decision he would leave to his party high command.
“I am here to work and whatever responsibility I am given, I will do my duties sincerely,” he said.
