Bengaluru: Few days after the woman in the H Y Meti sex CD attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills, the lady it is learnt has reiterated her initial stand of misdoing by the former minister and has filed a complaint of rape with the Karnataka State Police Chief RK Dutta in Bengaluru on Thursday.
The sex CD which was aired on a TV channel in December last year showed Meti in a compromising position with the woman, Vijayalakshmi who had then alleged the minister of seeking sexual favors from her. Meti was forced to quit his ministerial post following the allegations. However later the woman backtracked and claimed Meti to be a father figure to her and had named Subhash Mugalkhod, the gun man of Meti as one of the conspirators in attempting to tarnish the ministers image.
In her complaint now Vijayalakshmi has claimed that Meti had raped her as well as threatened her if she were to reveal about it to anyone. Further she said that after the video was aired Meti supporters had abducted her and she was forced to give a statement favoring the minister to the CID officials probing the case. Meti had got a clean chit around three months back from the CID who opined that the video may have been doctored.
The police chief has assured Vijayalakshmi of a fair investigation into her complaint. Vijayalakshmi has also sought protection for herself and her family members.
Interestingly the sex video tape was released by Rajashekhar Mulali, an RTI activist from Ballari who it is learnt has been in touch with Santhosh, personal assistant of BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa who is being investigated for an abduction bid on BJP leader Eshwarappa’s PA Vinay.
Meanwhile Subhash remains untraceable since the scandal broke out.
