Bengaluru: The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) president K. Ravi said unscheduled power cuts are sending production schedules haywire and resulting in a major quality and production breakdown.
He said companies are unable to manage export commitments, which affects future business orders and survival of exporters.
In a press release, the FKCCI president said that in view of the multiple issues being faced by industries and traders in Karnataka, particularly at a juncture where they are grappling with the Goods and Services Tax regime and increasing costs, the State government and the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation should take immediate steps to ensure normal power supply.
