Bengaluru: Kumarakrupa guesthouse witnessed brisk activities on Wednesday as several ministerial berth aspirants lined up to meet AICC General Secretary and State in-charge Digvijay Singh.
MLAs R V Devraj, Malaka Reddy, Eshwar Khandre, Rahim Khan and others met Singh and demanded for Cabinet reshuffle at the earliest.
The insiders of the party said that the aspirants of ministerial berths urged upon shunting out ‘non-performing’ ministers and induct new and young faces into the Cabinet.
Sources said that they complained that at least 25 ‘non-performing’ ministers are present in the Cabinet due to which the image of government is falling drastically.
Meanwhile, Khandre from Bidar expressed his dissatisfaction strongly over non-representative from his district in the present cabinet.
In between, Singh tried to convince the alleging MLAs of getting cabinet reshuffle soon after the ongoing election in five states, which was turned down deliberately.
Singh is in city to attend state sponsored Dr Ambedkar Jayanthi function on 14th April.
KPCC President G Parmeshwar was also present on the occasion.
