Bengaluru: Kavitha Reddy, the General Secretary of the Karnataka Congress, slammed her party for not promoting women empowerment while selecting candidates for the Legislative Council elections on June 3.
Social justice is not meaningful and incomplete without gender justice in political representation, stated Reddy.
“All men who get MLA/MP ticket will not win, so innability question is ONLY for women? Men with all resources also have lost elections, but the question on resources is ONLY for women? Social justice is irrelevant/incomplete without Gender justice,” she wrote in her Facebook.
