Bengaluru: According to sources, 21 Covid-19 cases have been reported in an apartment in Rajajinagar over the course of a week, resulting in yet another cluster in Bengaluru. Some of the people who tested positive in Sobha Indraprastha have a travel history.
“We are gathering their travel histories and have contained their flats, as well as the floors above and below. All of the other residents are being tested as well. The samples were sent for genomic sequencing in order to determine which variation was responsible for the cluster,” said Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Special Commissioner (Health) Dr. Thrilok Chandra.
There are 98 active containment zones in the City, with 31 of them in the Bommanahalli zone alone. The South Zone has 19, Mahadevapura has 14, East Zone has 13, West Zone has 10, Yelahanka has six, and RR Nagar has five.
