Bengaluru: City Commissioner of Police (CoP) Bhaskara Rao made it clear that police will not give permission to hold any kind of protest against the proposed CAA and NRC.

Speaking to reporters, he stated that a decision in this regard has been taken keeping in mind the law and order of the city.

“Two private college students had sought permission. But we denied them. Many organisations are seeking permission but we will not give it. If anyone violates the rule, action will be taken against them after video recording it,” he said.

“It is the duty of everyone to protect the law and order,” Rao added.
