Bengaluru: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sanjeev Kumar Jha clarified that any party flag can be hoisted above the houses and buildings as there are no restrictions on the same.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Jha said that there can be four flags in one building. The political parties may distribute food in their offices. But, they can not distribute food to woo voters.
There were objections from the political parties as the EC officials removed flags from private building recently. The BJP also alleged them of removing the party symbol ‘lotus’ which was imprinted on house walls, in few regions of the state.
