Bengaluru: Kashinath, the Headmaster of Jnana Jyoti English Medium School, where the manipulation of PSI-CET exam OMR sheets took place, surrendered to the State CID on the morning of Monday morning May 2.

Kashinath is the second person to surrender to the CID; the first being Manjunath Melkundi, who turned himself in on Sunday morning.

According to CID sources, Manjunath used to work with Kashinath in helping candidates in getting Jnana Jyoti Institute as the PSI CET Exam Center and get good scores.

Kashinath will then inform the Secretary of Jnana Ganga English Medium School, Divya Hagaragi, about the deal and hand over the money. Kashinath used to deal with the mediator and knew everything.

Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, CID police arrested another accused, Sridhar Pawar. He is said to be the one who exposed the PSI CET scam.

According to sources, Sridhar assisted in the recruitment of middlemen to help Veeresh (the first person arrested by the police) in the PSI CET.

He took a photo of the OMR sheet that was with Veeresh. He demanded more money from Veeresh to be quiet, and when Veeresh refused, Sridhar went viral with the OMR form Veeresh filled out and the grades he received, forcing the government to order a CID investigation.
