Bengaluru: Due to a technical glitch in one of the trains travelling from Yelachenahalli to Nagasandra, commuters of the Green Metro line were forced to wait for half an hour. This problem occurred at around 9:45 am and left almost hundreds of commuters stranded.
This incident has inconvenienced hundreds of commuters and put them out of their schedule as they had to get off at National College, Rajajinagar, Peenya Industry, Majestic and Sampige Road Stations.
Ajay Seth, Managing Director of Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) spoke about the technical glitch and that the BMRCL had introduced an additional train from Nagasandra, two trains from Rajajinagar and one train from Peenya industry to normalise the situation.
BMRCL, at 10:57 am confirmed that the problem had been fixed and the train situations were restored as per normal.
