Tumakuru: In October 2021, the marriage of Shankarappa, a 45-year-old farmer from Akkimaripalya in Kunigal Taluk went viral as the bride was 20 years younger than him. Shankarappa was unmarried while his wife was separated from her husband.
The duo’s marriage photo went viral as it was a love marriage and bride herself proposed marriage.
But now in a tragic end to the marriage, Shankarappa died by suicide. He died suicide by hanging from a tree at his farm.
Huliyuru Durga Police have launched an investigation, and recovered a death note from the incident site.
