Bantwal youth booked second time for circulating hate messages

Mangaluru: Bantwal Town police registered a case against a youth, who was allegedly spreading hate messages against a particular community over social media.

The accused has been identified as Yashu Gatti, a resident of Alampady in Sajipa Munnoor village of Bantwal taluk.

An activist of Popular Front of India (PFI) Shekhabba of Panemangaluru alleged that Yashu Gatti had shared a message in social media abusing minorities for spreading the deadly Coronavirus.

It is the second incident of filing case against Yashu Gatti for the same reason.

Bantwal Town Policeis probing the case.
