Mangaluru: Three two-wheelers landed in a crater which was a result of a sudden landslide near Thokkottu on Friday night.
The shocking incident occurred at 11 pm near Maya bar. The onlookers were surprised to see Activa, Avenger and Dio in the crater.
The vehicles belonged to Anil, Danny and Ozzy. The fire brigade was called by Ullal police inspector Shashikanth, once he came to know about the incident. Unfortunately, none of the members of the fire brigade were ready to get down into the crater. Finally, a person named Manoj, got down using a crane and bought the vehicles up.
People were seen criticizing the fire brigade personnel as they were seen only talking rather than doing the work.
Sources said that during the road widening, a well was closed with the help of a thin concrete layer. Sufficient soil was not used in the process which resulted in landslide.
