Mangaluru: Eyeing on the upcoming Assembly elections, Mangaluru South Constituency Congress is holding a convention on September 25 in Town Hall at 3 PM.
MLA J R Lobo told media that AICC General Secretary P P Vishnunath would inaugurate the convention. MLAs, ministers, booth, ward, block level presidents and other representatives of Congress party will take part in this convention, he added.
He also revealed that on September 23, Vishnunath would also inaugurate Congress “Mane Manege” programme at 9:30 PM in Shivabagh, in which the party workers would visit each home and inform about the developmental programmes of Congress government in the state.
He also said that during the convention, six workers who worked immensely for the party would be felicitated.
