In an operation conducted at the Thodar-Edapadavu checkpost within the Mangaluru North Assembly constituency limits, a team of election officials confiscated a sum of Rs 1.32 lakhs being transported in a car without appropriate documentation. The incident occurred on Sunday night when a resident of Kaikamba, traveling in the aforementioned vehicle, was intercepted at the checkpost.

Upon inspection, the cash was discovered, prompting the officials to request relevant documents from the individual. However, the person failed to produce the necessary paperwork related to the cash, leading to its seizure by the authorities.
