Illegal construction: Engineer also will be held responsible
Khader informed that there is a plan to get an amendment to the Town Planning Act in order to check illegal constructions. “Earlier, if there was an illegal construction, only the owner of that building was getting punished. But, now we are planning to make an amendment to the Act in order to hold the engineers also responsible for the illegal construction. The draft copy is ready and we will get the cabinet approval in the next winter session”, he said.
