He was addressing the officials during a preliminary meeting on the Mangaluru Dasara at the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office on Friday, September 27. For safety and security purposes, he opined that the temple management board should take immediate measures to install CCTV cameras.

The branches of tress along the roads where the Dasara procession will move, should be trimmed. Special arrangements should be made at temples to facilitate elderly people, children and those who are physically challenged, during the Dasara celebrations, he instructed.
